Interesting construction technique – single piece is converted into desired shape by clever use of flaps and folds.
Paper toy comes with a story and a puzzle to solve – you can discover a password to unlock additional papertoy and another part of an accompanying story!
I loved the puzzle – it proved to be challenging enough and I had an interesting discussion with papertoy author about clues and my journey to the final solution. While I guessed right away where the password was hidden, I had trouble getting an actual word. I managed to find all the clues and finally got this decoding right.
It was a great fun!
Death Star Perpetual Calendar – my custom papercraft model. Original by:erico for Canon Creative Park Custom by:kuzzzma for team Galactic Empire Difficulty: ★★★☆☆ (3/5) Time: a few hours
This is my first time customizing Paperized Crafts template and I’ve decided to create papertoys of most recent Christopher Nolan’ film Tenet main characters – the Protagonist and Neil.
I’ve modified original Paperized pattern for more streamlined assembly – rearranged some flaps, added extra body piece – as a “body gap” in original always bugged me. Also hands construction was changed a bit (for same reason). So, here are some photos of finished figures and a brief “How-to” instructions.
