Open door, through door, close door. Don’t look back.
Easy for me to say, harder for me to execute.

I try to stay focused and move forward, but I have a sentimental side that bogs me down at times.
I’ve gotten better at controlling myself when I wax nostalgic, but there are some in my life that are crippled by it.

I’m not saying what’s done is done, never to be thought of again.
By all means, remember the past fondly, let it teach you, guide you, give you a giggle, a cry, perspective.
Just don’t let yourself get stuck in the mire.

The future is now, today is yesterday’s tomorrow and all that staff.
Make new memories now that you can remember later with all the other ones.
