Covers for Calibre, inspired by PENGUIN paperbacks

Recently, I’ve spent some time consolidating my ebooks in Calibre library, and during this process I’ve started to use several new-to-me plugins. One of them is “Generate Cover” plugin, that allows more control over the generated book cover, with an option to create your own design.
I’ve created a template, mimicking PENGUIN paperbacks for myself and now want to share it with anyone, who might want to use it too.

Somewhere in January, after my year review post is written, new goals are set and new projects for the new year are selected – comes the time to archive previous year diary inserts. I’ve kept all my inserts from previous years for both sentimental reasons and for references, as I do often have to look some details up.

paint it yellow

С незапамятных времен у меня есть 3 стула IKEA Frosta.
Последние лет 10 они служили дополнительными посадочными местами на кухне и в гостиной, местом для надевания обуви в прихожей, приставными столиками и чем еще только не.. Два из них были покрашены мной в черный и красный, а один остался нетронутым.
Недавно, расслабляясь после трудовых подвигов во славу долгой жизни моих цветов, я бросил взгляд на него и задумался о том, что светлое дерево конечно неплохо, но зачем, если у меня есть где-то остаток любимого оттенка желтой краски Dulux…
Нужно красить!

В тот же вечер банка была найдена, оказалось, что за пару лет пигменты расслоились, но тщательное перемешивание вернуло краске ее изначальный цвет. Несмотря на поздний час, стул был водружен на многострадальный стол на кухне (который я когда-нибудь тоже покрашу полностью в серый) и я начал свою цветотерапию.
